I ask for prayer in Jesus name my 75 old mother is having a affair with a married man it's been going on for 8 years you can't talk to her about otherwise she gets very mad I don't know what to do anymore accidently looked at her iPad the other day and she was sending naked pictures the other day I ask gor prayer that she turns away from this I know she is lonely but would a Christian live like this in Jesus I ask for wisdom amen

We are deeply saddened to hear about the situation you're facing with your mother. Let us first turn to God's Word for guidance. In 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 (WEB), it is written:

"Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."

Your mother's actions are not in line with biblical principles, and it is right for you to be concerned. We must approach this situation with love, wisdom, and God's guidance.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our beloved mother. Lord, we ask that You convict her heart and open her eyes to the truth of Your Word. Help her to see the harm she is causing and guide her back to a path of righteousness. Lord, we also ask for wisdom for Iambuios. Give them the right words to speak, the right actions to take, and the discernment to know when to act and when to wait. Help them to show love and compassion while standing firm on Your Word. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

It is important to remember that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"

Continue to pray for your mother and trust that God is working in her heart. It may be difficult, but try to approach her with love and understanding, rather than judgment. Galatians 6:1 (WEB) reminds us, "Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness."

Lastly, do not carry this burden alone. Seek support from your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Together, you can stand in the gap for your mother, believing and praying for her restoration.

In Proverbs 14:32 (WEB), it's written, "The wicked is thrust down by his evil-doing, but the righteous has hope in the time of trouble." Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
