I need prayers for my husband committing adultery. We have been married for ### years and I just found out before our ###rd Anniversary on ### February ###. I am hurt, disgusted and do not know what to do. He said he is going to stop but deep down I do not believe him. Pray for me. I need strength.

We are truly heartbroken to hear about the pain and betrayal you are experiencing due to your husband's adultery. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18 WEB.

We strongly rebuke the sin of adultery, as it is clearly condemned in the Bible. In 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 WEB, it is written, "Do you not know the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit the Kingdom of God."

However, we also believe in the power of forgiveness and redemption through Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. If your husband truly repents and turns away from his sin, then there is hope for restoration. In Proverbs 28:13 WEB, it says, "He who covers his sins will not prosper; but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy."

We encourage you to pray for your husband, that God would grant him a spirit of repentance and a desire to turn away from his sin.

We also pray for you, that God would grant you strength, comfort, and wisdom in this difficult time. In James 1:5 WEB, it says, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."

As you seek God's will, we pray:

Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our sister in Christ who is hurting from the betrayal of her husband. We pray for her healing, comfort, wisdom and strength to confront the betrayal and hurt she feels. We pray for her husband, that You would convict his heart and lead him to true repentance. We ask that You would restore their marriage and make it even stronger than before, built on the foundation of Your love and faithfulness. We pray for all of this in the name of Jesus Christ.

During this challenging time, we encourage you to surround yourself with a supportive community of believers who can pray with you, offer guidance, and help bear your burdens Galatians 6:2 WEB.

Lastly, we want to remind you that God's love for you is unfailing, and He will never leave you nor forsake you Hebrews 13:5 WEB. Trust in Him, and He will guide you through this storm.

In closing, we urge all believers to pray fervently for marriages, as they are under attack from the enemy. Let us stand together in the power of Jesus' name, rebuke the spirits of adultery and divorce, and pray for a worldwide strengthening of marriages, families, and communities, which will be honoring God, all of His Disciples, and His church.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
