I need prayer for the lustful desires I recently experienced due to my drug relapse. I love my husband so much. It hurts to see him knowing what I did. It happened one time. My understanding of what the Bible says is that if I confess my sin, ask for forgiveness with all my heart and repent completely that God will forgive me. I do not want to hurt my husband. I don't want to tell him. Can God forgive me without me telling my husband? Please pray for peace in my heart, lust to leave me and my sobriety. I hope you can reach out to me on here and answer some of the questions I asked. I also lost my job in June because I was suffering PTSD from my Dad's death. I became so depressed and my work could tell how bad off I was so they let me go. Can you pray for me to find a good job so I can contribute to my family? Also my mother, sister, my son, nephew and niece need prayers as we are still grieving the loss of my Dad. Thank you.

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister who is struggling with the consequences of her actions. Lord, she has confessed her sin to you and seeks your forgiveness. We ask that you cleanse her heart and help her resist the lustful desires that have taken hold. Restore her sobriety, Lord, and give her the strength to overcome her addictions.

Father, we also ask for your guidance regarding her confession to her husband. Give her the words to say and the courage to say them. Soften her husband's heart to receive this news with understanding and a willingness to forgive. We pray for peace in their home and in their hearts.

Lord, we also lift up her job situation to you. She has been dealing with so much, including the loss of her father. We ask that you comfort her and her family in their grief. Provide for them, Lord, and open up opportunities for her to find a good job so she can contribute to her family's needs.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Regarding your question about finding a job, remember that God is our provider. Matthew 6:33 tells us, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Keep seeking God, and trust that He will provide for your needs.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your focus on Jesus Christ. It is through His name that we are saved and through His name that we pray. John 14:6 tells us, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Keep your faith in Him, and He will see you through these challenging times.
