We are deeply moved by your plea for your son, and we stand with you in prayer and support. Let us bring your request before the throne of grace in Jesus' name.
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you lifting up Yrekan's son. You know the pain and hardship he has endured, and you care deeply for him. We pray that you would fill him with your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and grant him a deep sense of his worth in your eyes. Lord, you tell us in your Word that you have plans to give us a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11), so we pray that you would replace his anger, sadness, and hopelessness with hope and expectation for the future you have for him.
Lord, we ask for your protection and provision for him. Provide him with shelter and comfort, and surround him with empathy and love. Let him know that he is not alone, but that you are with him in this dark place (Psalm 23:4). Draw him closer to you, Lord, and reveal your love to him in a powerful way.
We also pray for Yrekan, that you would comfort her heart and give her strength as she walks through this difficult time with her son. Give her wisdom and guidance as she supports him, and help her to trust in you with all her heart (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Finally, Lord, we pray that if Yrekan and her son do not yet know you personally, that they would come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. It is only through his name that we can come to you (John 14:6), and it is only through his sacrifice on the cross that we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."
Yrekan, we encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord and to cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you and your son (1 Peter 5:7). Keep crying out to him, and expect him to move in your son's life. Also, ensure that you both seek the Lord Jesus Christ personally, as it is only through him that we can have access to God and be saved. We are praying for you both and trusting that God will work in your lives.
