Dear Heavenly Father,
In the mighty name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of Dawn LM and her son David. Lord, we lift up David to you, who is struggling with substance abuse and has relapsed into active use. We declare that no situation is ever too late for you, Lord. Your power and grace are limitless, and we believe that you can bring deliverance and healing into David's life.
Father, we ask that you break the chains of addiction that are binding David. We pray for your divine intervention to set him free from the grip of substance abuse. Your Word says in Isaiah 61:1, "The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners." We claim this promise over David's life, believing that you will release him from the bondage of addiction.
Lord, we also pray for protection over David's life and housing. Shield him from any harm or danger that may come his way. Surround him with your angels and place a hedge of protection around him. Your Word assures us in Psalm 91:4, "He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart." We trust in your faithfulness, Lord, and ask that you keep David safe and secure.
Lastly, we pray for Dawn LM, who is standing in the gap for her son. Strengthen her faith and grant her peace in the midst of this challenging situation. Give her wisdom and guidance as she supports David on his journey to recovery. Remind her that you are with her every step of the way, providing comfort and strength.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your unwavering love and mercy. We believe that you are working in David's life, bringing about transformation and restoration. May your will be done, and may David experience the freedom and abundant life that can only be found in you.
