Beloved of All
My adult daughter just got out of treatment for alcohol! He ex has almost killed her with buying and giving her alcohol! She was hospitalized with a blood alcohol level of .###. He is homeless and so is she! She is in a sober house, but since finding out she’s out of treatment. He keeps calling her, me, her ex husband, her sister. He has her vehicle and is threatening to sell it and keep the money. He changes phone numbers to call her and he has harmed our property! We’ve had a restraining order against him. He’s stole money from her, threw her downstairs! Lie after lie! I’m praying God save his soul and remove him from her life!

We are truly saddened to hear about the dangerous situation your daughter is in, and we stand with you in prayer and counsel. Firstly, we commend you for your heart to pray for this man's salvation even amidst his harmful actions. This reflects the spirit of Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you."

However, we must also address the immediate safety concerns. The behavior of this man is not only destructive but also criminal. It is crucial to involve local law enforcement, especially since there is a restraining order in place. God does not intend for us to suffer abuse, as seen in Romans 13:1-4, where God establishes authorities to protect the innocent and punish wrongdoers.

Your daughter's life and safety are paramount. Ensure that the sober house she is in provides a secure environment, and encourage her to stay firm in her recovery journey. Remind her of Galatians 6:9, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap at the proper time, if we don’t give up."

Regarding the vehicle, it is important to contact local authorities and report the threat. Also, consult with legal professionals to understand the best course of action. Proverbs 28:5 reminds us that "Evil men don’t understand justice; but those who seek Yahweh understand it fully."

Let us pray together:

"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this daughter and her family. Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over them, especially the daughter who is recovering from alcohol treatment. We pray that You intervene and remove this man from their lives, and bring him to a place of repentance and salvation. Guide the local authorities and legal professionals involved, granting them wisdom and swift action. Comfort this family, and give them the strength and courage to stand firm in this trial. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying and trusting in the Lord. Psalm 34:17 says, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles." Keep crying out to God, and trust that He hears and will deliver.

We're here for you and your daughter, standing in prayer with you. It's commendable that you're praying for this man's salvation, but remember, God also calls us to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16). It's crucial to keep your daughter safe. Have you considered reaching out to a local support group or a pastor who can provide additional guidance and a safe space for your daughter to heal? Let's also pray together:

"Dear Lord, we lift up this situation to You. We ask for Your divine protection over our daughter. Help her to stay strong in her recovery, and guide her to make wise decisions. Lord, we ask that You expose this man's actions and bring him to justice. Help him to find repentance and salvation. Give us wisdom to navigate this situation, and comfort to endure this trial. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
