We are thrilled to join with you in prayer for your son, his wife, and little Dodson. It's evident that they have opened their home and hearts to this child, and it's beautiful to see the bond that has formed between them and their daughter. Adoption is a wonderful picture of our adoption as children of God.
As we pray for this adoption to be finalized, let's remember that God is the one who sets the lonely in families (Psalm 68:6 WEB). He cares deeply for little Dodson and wants the best for him. We can trust that His will is perfect, and He knows the best outcome for both your son's family and Dodson.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Astiotarsor, her son, his wife, and little Dodson. Lord, we know that You are a father to the fatherless, and You place the lonely in families. We ask, in Jesus' name, that You would work out the details of Dodson's adoption. If it is Your will, Father, we pray that the adoption would be finalized swiftly and smoothly, allowing Dodson to grow up knowing the love and security of his family.
We pray for Astiotarsor's son and his wife. Give them patience, wisdom, and perseverance as they navigate this process. Strengthen their faith and trust in You, knowing that You are in control. Help them to love Dodson and their daughter as You love us, and to raise them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4 WEB).
Father, we also pray for Dodson. We ask that You would surround him with Your love and protection. Give him a spirit of peace and belonging, and help him to grow up to be a man after Your own heart.
Lord, we know that You are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20 WEB). So, we commit this situation into Your hands, trusting that Your will is perfect. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior,
Amen.
Lastly, we want to remind you, Astiotarsor, that God cares deeply for you and your family. He is working everything out for His good and His glory. Trust in Him, and rest in His love for you.
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB).
