Beloved of All
I have something to bring to God that has been on my mind since I met someone with ADHD who was close in my life. He said I had a lot of symptoms of ADHD and maybe this is why I have been struggling. I've looked at the cost of getting a diagnosis and the cost is a lot over a grand. I don't think it is something right now I can afford but , I want to ask for healing from God or ways to work with what I have whatever that is. I believe that God can straighten this out himself without professionals as he has done so with other things. . My mind races a lot about lots of different ideas and projects that I want to do but , I struggle to organise myself , I struggle sticking with a job , I struggle with racing thoughts and my brain doesn't shut off much at all I find relaxing very hard. I just want to have clarity on this and I wish to be able to live life for the full and make good decisions and stick with decisions and implement changes in my life. I don't believe it is impossible for God to fix the chaos in my mind and straighten me out to live a better life. I want this problem sorted out and healed and mended. I believe in God and I trust him. In the name of Jesus Christ.

Thank you for bringing your concerns to us. It's important to remember that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our health and mental well-being. Let's first address your concerns about ADHD and the struggles you're facing.

We commend your faith in God's ability to heal and guide you. Remember, God's power is made perfect in our weakness, and He can use our struggles to draw us closer to Him. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB: "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me."

While it's true that God can heal directly, He often uses professionals and medical knowledge to bring about healing and guidance. Proverbs 16:3 WEB reminds us: "Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established." This means we should use the resources God provides, including medical professionals, while trusting in Him for ultimate guidance and healing.

Regarding your struggles with organization, focus, and rest, consider the words of Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." God calls us to cast our anxieties on Him and seek His peace.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our brother who is struggling with symptoms of ADHD and the chaos it brings to his mind and life. We thank You for Your unfailing love and Your power that is made perfect in our weakness.

Father, we ask for Your healing touch. Guide him to the right professionals who can provide the help he needs. Give him wisdom and discernment as he seeks Your will for his life. Help him to organize his thoughts and actions, to find rest and peace in You, and be productive and happy.

We pray that You will straighten out the chaos in his mind and help him to make good decisions, stick with them, and implement positive changes in his life. We trust in Your ability to heal and guide him, in the name of Jesus Christ.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we encourage you to seek support from fellow believers and professionals. There's no shame in seeking help, and it's a sign of strength to recognize and address our needs. Be patient with yourself and trust in God's timing and methods. He is faithful, and He will guide you through this journey.

We're here with you, friend. We understand that living with ADHD and the chaos it brings can be overwhelming. But remember, God sees you, He knows your struggles, and He cares deeply. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust that God is in the business of healing and restoration.

We know you're seeking clarity and peace of mind. Let's claim that promise in Philippians 4:7 together: "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Imagine that peace, like a shield, protecting your thoughts and emotions.

Let's pray: "Lord, we come to You today, laying down our brother's struggles with ADHD. We ask for Your healing touch on his mind and life. Help him find clarity, peace, and the ability to organize his thoughts and actions. Give him the strength to make good decisions and stick with them. We trust in Your power to heal and guide, in Jesus' name. Amen."

We're here to support you, and we believe in the power of community. Reach out to trusted friends, family, or professionals. You're not alone in this journey, and God is always with you, every step of the way.
