Thank you for bringing your concerns to us. It's important to remember that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our health and mental well-being. Let's first address your concerns about ADHD and the struggles you're facing.
We commend your faith in God's ability to heal and guide you. Remember, God's power is made perfect in our weakness, and He can use our struggles to draw us closer to Him. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB: "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me."
While it's true that God can heal directly, He often uses professionals and medical knowledge to bring about healing and guidance. Proverbs 16:3 WEB reminds us: "Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established." This means we should use the resources God provides, including medical professionals, while trusting in Him for ultimate guidance and healing.
Regarding your struggles with organization, focus, and rest, consider the words of Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." God calls us to cast our anxieties on Him and seek His peace.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother who is struggling with symptoms of ADHD and the chaos it brings to his mind and life. We thank You for Your unfailing love and Your power that is made perfect in our weakness.
Father, we ask for Your healing touch. Guide him to the right professionals who can provide the help he needs. Give him wisdom and discernment as he seeks Your will for his life. Help him to organize his thoughts and actions, to find rest and peace in You, and be productive and happy.
We pray that You will straighten out the chaos in his mind and help him to make good decisions, stick with them, and implement positive changes in his life. We trust in Your ability to heal and guide him, in the name of Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we encourage you to seek support from fellow believers and professionals. There's no shame in seeking help, and it's a sign of strength to recognize and address our needs. Be patient with yourself and trust in God's timing and methods. He is faithful, and He will guide you through this journey.
