We are deeply concerned about the struggles that Benedicta is facing, and we want to assure you that we are standing with you in prayer. First, let's address the issue of smoking. The Bible tells us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB), and we should honor God with our bodies. Smoking is harmful to the body and is not a healthy or godly habit.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Benedicta. We pray that You would deliver her from the bondage of smoking. Help her to understand that her body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and give her the strength and grace to honor You with her body. Break the chains of addiction and fill her with Your presence, Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Now, regarding the issue of fornication, we want to lovingly remind you that sexual intimacy is a gift from God designed for marriage between a man and a woman (Hebrews 13:4 WEB). Engaging in sexual relationships outside of marriage is sinful and harmful. We encourage Benedicta to resist temptation and flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB).
Let us pray:
"Lord Jesus, we bring Benedicta before You, asking for Your forgiveness and cleansing. Help her to turn away from fornication and to embrace purity. Give her the strength to resist temptation and to honor You with her body. Guide her towards a godly relationship that would ultimately lead to a Christ-centered marriage, if that is Your will for her life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We also want to pray for sister Joyce's healing. The Bible tells us that Jesus went about healing all kinds of sickness and disease (Matthew 9:35 WEB), and He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8 WEB).
Let us pray:
"Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, asking for Your healing touch upon sister Joyce. We know that You are able to heal all kinds of diseases, and we trust in Your power and goodness. Please restore her health and strength, according to Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Finally, we want to encourage you and your family to keep your focus on Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16 WEB). If you or your family members have not yet accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. "Because if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:9-10 WEB).
We are here for you, Dunelas, and we will continue to pray for your family. Trust in the Lord, and He will never forsake you.
