We are deeply concerned for Shaun and Jade, and we stand with you in prayer, Eleamar. Firstly, we acknowledge that Shaun's addictions need to be addressed with urgency and spiritual fervor. Addictions are not merely physical issues, but spiritual strongholds that need to be broken in Jesus' name. We are reminded in
Galatians 5:1 WEB
"Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage."
Shaun must seek freedom from his addictions through Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that true freedom comes. We pray that Shaun will turn to Jesus, confess his struggles, and find the strength to overcome his addictions.
Concerning Shaun's marriage to Jade, we pray for God's will to be done in their union. Marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, designed to reflect the relationship between Christ and His church Ephesians 5:25. We pray that Shaun and Jade will honor their marriage vows and seek God's guidance in their relationship. We encourage them to pursue love, forgiveness, and understanding as God intends in Colossians 3:12-14 WEB "Put on therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do.
Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection."
.
We must also remind you, Eleamar, that prayer in Jesus' name is powerful and effective. It is only through His name that we can approach God the Father, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 We pray that Shaun will come to know Jesus Christ as his personal Savior, if he hasn't already, and find freedom from his addictions and strength for his marriage.
Let us pray together for Shaun and Jade.
