We are with you in spirit and in prayer, lifting up your daughter and your family during this challenging time. Addiction is a powerful stronghold, but we serve a God who can break every chain and set the captives free. We will pray with you for your daughter.
Firstly, we acknowledge that there is no other way to be saved but by the name of Jesus Christ. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. We must align our requests to God by the name of Jesus Christ.
Let us pray, remembering that Jesus said, “Again, truly I tell you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.”
Let us Pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her daughter who is battling addiction. Lord, You tell us in Your Word that "you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free". Lord, we pray for the truth of Your Word to penetrate her heart and set her free from the bondage of addiction.
We pray for tomorrow, Lord, as she enters the rehabilitation program. Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Guide the doctors, counselors, and all those who will be working with her, granting them wisdom and discernment to effectively minister to her needs.
We pray for her well-being, that this program will be successful in helping her overcome her addictions. Let this be a turning point in her life, a testament to Your power and grace. We pray not only for her healing but for the restoration of her relationships with her daughter and the family.
Lord, we also lift up the family. Strengthen them with Your mighty power in their inner being, that they may be able to withstand this trial with steadfast faith. Comfort them, Lord, and grant them the patience and understanding needed to support their loved one through this journey.
In all things, Lord, let Your will be done. We trust in Your promise that "all things work together for good to those who love You, to those who are the called according to your purpose." and that this family loves you and will seek you continually with all their heart.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing in the gap for your daughter, trusting in God's promises. Remember, "He who began a good work in you (and your daughter) will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ." Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you, He will never leave you nor forsake you.
