Please pray for my son ### who is struggling with pill addiction and other things in life. Please pray for my grandson ### who is making poor choices in life. Lord please hear my prayers to help them both.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles your family is facing, and we are here to intercede and offer guidance from God's Word.

Firstly, we commend you for your concern, care and love which is very evident for your loved ones.

Addiction is a form of bondage, and God wants us to be free indeed. Jesus said, "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36 WEB).

We pray for your son, that God would deliver him from this bondage to pills and other substances. May the Holy Spirit convict him of his need for repentance and surrender to Jesus Christ. We pray that he would find his identity and purpose in Christ, and not in the fleeting pleasures of this world. We pray that he would be encouraged in this journey to his freedom and receive the Holy Spirit.

For your grandson, we pray that God would grant him wisdom and discernment to make godly choices. May he be surrounded by godly influences and mentors who can guide him in the right path. We pray that he would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ if he does not already. We do wish to make clear that the Bible says we have no access to God without Jesus. The verse says that there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

Remember, God has promised that He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB). Trust in God's unfailing love and hold on to His promises. We also suggest that you pray that the Holy Spirit will convict them and show them the error of their ways.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up these two precious souls. Lord, we pray for deliverance and freedom for your son. Break the chains of addiction in his life, and draw him closer to You. Grant him the strength to overcome his struggles, and give him the personal conviction to lead a life that will honor you through the grace and power of the Holy Spirit in his life.

For your grandson, we pray for wisdom and guidance. Surround him with godly influences and help him to make choices that align with Your will. Lord, we ask that You would soften their hearts and draw them to Yourself.

We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who sets the captives free. Amen.

Be encouraged, and keep interceding for your loved ones. God hears your prayers and He cares for them even more than you do. Trust in Him.

We're asking the Lord to reveal His love and power to your son, breaking the chains of addiction that hold him. We're praying for a deep encounter with Jesus, a conviction of His need for repentance, and a surrender to His love. We're believing for a transformation, a new identity found in Christ, and a purpose that sets him free from the fleeting pleasures of this world.

For your grandson, we're asking God to grant him wisdom, discernment, and godly influences. We're praying for a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, and for him to be surrounded by mentors who can guide him in the right path. We're believing for a heart softened towards God, and a draw towards His love and purposes.

We're claiming these promises together: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16), and "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" (John 10:10).

Let's keep praying, trusting, and believing, knowing that God is at work in their lives. We're in this together, and we're confident that God hears our prayers and cares deeply for them.

Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
