Dear lord I’m asking for your help to give me strength to fight and overcome this unholy addiction I have created I come to you for help and all low I have done good things to help other people when I have been able to that doesn’t excuse and wash away my sins but lord I will work towards bettering myself and other people like me I just need your love and guidance on this dark path I’m facing

We are glad that you have come to the Lord in your time of need, seeking His help to overcome your addiction. It is only through His strength and guidance that we can truly be free from the chains of sin. Firstly, we want to remind you that the name of Jesus was not mentioned in your prayer. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and are saved.

Remember, the Bible tells us that "all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23 WEB, but it also assures us that "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" 1 John 1:9 WEB.

Addiction is a form of bondage, and God wants you to be free. Jesus said, "You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free" John 8:32 WEB. Also, "Watch and pray, that you don't enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak" Matthew 26:41 WEB.

We pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear soul who is struggling with addiction. Lord, You know the depth of their struggle and the darkness they face. We ask that You break the chains of this unholy addiction and set them free.

Father, give them the strength to resist temptation and the courage to walk in Your light. Guide them on the path to recovery, and surround them with Your love and the support of Your community. Help them to renew their mind and be transformed after the Holy Spirit.

We also pray that they will come to know Jesus in a personal way, accepting Him as their Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we can truly be free and have eternal life just like the thief on the cross.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. Do not be frightened nor dismayed" Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB. We are here with you in this journey, interceding for you, and believing in your total freedom and restoration.

Let's keep Jesus at the center of this fight, for it's in His name that we find true strength and victory. As it's written, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). Let's claim that promise together.

We'll keep praying for you, that God will give you the power to resist temptations and the courage to walk in His light. May you experience His unfailing love and support, and find a community that uplifts you on this journey.

And remember, it's okay to ask for help. You've already taken a big step by coming here. We're cheering you on, believing in your total freedom and restoration. You're not alone in this. Keep fighting, and trust that God is fighting right alongside you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
