We understand that you're struggling with alcohol addiction, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this battle. Most importantly, God is with you and He wants to help you overcome this challenge.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1(WEB). He is always there to help us in our time of need. As it says in 1 Corinthians 10:13(WEB), No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
However, we need to approach God in the way He has shown us, and that is through His Son Jesus Christ, IJN (In Jesus Name). As it says in the WEB, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5. There is no other name by which we can be saved. For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13. If ye shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shallt be saved. Romans 10:9.
Addiction is a form of bondage, and God wants us to be free indeed. There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death. Romans 8:1,2.
We pray for you, Cheutseorview, asking God to deliver you from this addiction. Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before You, asking for Your help. Cheutseorview is struggling with alcohol addiction, and we ask that You break these chains. Give them the strength to overcome this temptation and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Guide them in the way they should go and help them to live a life that honors You.
We encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from fellow believers. Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14. Share your struggle with trusted Christian friends or a pastor, so they can support and pray for you.
Lastly, remember that God loves you and He wants the best for you. Trust in Him, and He will guide you through this. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13.
Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people. Ephesians 6:18.
