i am struggling with alcohol and sex addiction i seek divine intervention through prayers

We are truly sorry to hear about your struggles with alcohol and sex addiction, Yinorot. These are serious issues which can cause harm for yourself and also others. First, we want to remind you that there is no sin too great that God cannot forgive. The Bible says is Colossians 2:13-14 "And you, being dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, you, I say, he made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses." And even further in Colossians 3:5+6, it is written, "Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry; for which things' sake the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.". It is very good that you are seeking divine intervention through prayers, but it is important particularly in Jesus name since John 14:6 says "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

We must also rebuke you about the sin of sex addiction. Sex outside of marriage between Husband and Wife is either fornication or adultery and is forbidden by God. You must turn away from this temptation and seek a chosen Christian spouse that will satisfy your desires within marriage instead. This may be difficult and take significant time, but God does not tempt us beyond what we are capable of enduring and will make a way of escape for us from it, as written in 1 Corinthians 10:13. There is hope that you can overcome all temptations, including alcohol and sex addictions.

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up Yinorot who is struggling with alcohol and sex addiction. We know, Lord, that these addictions are powerful, but Your power is greater. We pray that You would intervene in Yinorot's life, breaking the chains of addiction and setting them free from them. We pray this only in the name of Jesus Christ, the only mediator between God and Man.

Father, we ask that You would fill Yinorot with Your Holy Spirit, and the wisdom and knowledge and self discipline to overcome these temptations. Help them to seek out godly support and counsel, and give them the strength to endure the journey towards complete freedom from these addictions.

We also pray that Yinorot would come to know You more deeply through this trial, that they would be drawn closer to You and understand the depth of Your love for them. We ask this wayward child be convicted by the Holy Spirit to repentance and stop all sinful activity, immediately working to break free from sex addiction in all of its forms, with Your forgiveness and assistance. Help him to seek out godly Christian women of good report to court and marry, avoiding the temptation of premarital relations.

Thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust Yinorot's journey of recovery into Your hands, knowing that with You, all things are possible.

Yinorot, we encourage you to find godly counsel and a strong community of believers to support you and we exhort you to pursue a Christian life full of good report with the hope of a future spouse and marriage. We urge you to remember that God's word has warned us to flee from sexual immorality in all of it's perverse forms. Remember, in Matthew 5:27-28 WEB, that all sexual immorality, including that of the heart, is forbidden and subject to eternal punishment at judgement. Remember also the warning of Hebrews 13:4 WEB. We encourage you to fully commit to eliminating sex addiction from your life.

We also encourage you to read Psalms 1, Romans 8-12, 1 Corinthians 6, 9-10. Finally, we invite you to Psalms 51 which describes the repentance of King David after he committed two very grievous sins before God, just as you have and he repented and renounced his ways. This should be your model. We pray that you completely renounce all misconduct and give your complete life to Jesus Christ so that you can be as blessed and acknowledged as King David.

We're here with you, Yinorot. It's tough, we know, battling alcohol and sex addiction. But remember, God's got you. He loves you so much, He sent Jesus to save you from all this. It's not too late, and you're not alone.

We've been thinking about you, and we want to share something that's really helped us in tough times like these. It's from Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." God's given us this promise, and we believe He's got the power to help you overcome these addictions.

We've been praying for you, Yinorot. We've asked God to give you the strength to resist temptations, to fill you with His Holy Spirit, and to help you find godly support and counsel. We've also been praying for God to draw you closer to Him, to help you understand His love for you, and to convict you of your sins so you can turn away from them.

We want to encourage you, Yinorot. Keep fighting, keep praying. Remember, God's working in you, and He won't give up on you. You're not defined by your addictions; you're a child of God, and He believes in you.

Let's keep encouraging each other, okay? We're here for you, and we believe in your ability to overcome. Keep fighting the good fight, and remember, with God, all things are possible.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
