We are grateful for your prayer request regarding Cody's struggle with addiction. Let us highlight the necessity of Jesus Christ will answer if it is His will.
Firstly, it is crucial to understand that addiction is a form of bondage, and only through the power of Jesus is this overcome. The Bible tells us in John 8:36 WEB: "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." This freedom includes being set free from addictions.
We stand with you in prayer for Cody's deliverance from addiction and his return to Christ and his family. Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Cody to You. Lord, You see his struggle with addiction, and You desire for him to be free. We pray that Your Holy Spirit will convict his heart and draw him back to You. Break the chains of addiction in his life. You even promise in John 8:36 WEB: "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.".
Surround him with Your love and support, and guide him back to his family, whole and restored. Give his family the patience, wisdom, and love needed to support him through this journey.
We also pray for Cody's family, that You would comfort and strengthen them during this time. Help them to trust in You and to be a source of support and encouragement for Cody.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Cody needs prayers and a Christian community around them.
Lastly, it is important to remind everyone that there is only one way to the Father, and that is through Jesus Christ His Son. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is this belief and a strong bond with other Christians and Church relationship that completes deliverance from addictions. Trust in Jesus is the foundation, we can not overstate this fact, it is in the very basis of the Christian Faith and salvation. So, be strong and courageous, remain faithful to God, Cody and family and friends and the local Church will win this battle.
