Addiction

Please pray that God would help me to break free from this terrible addiction that robs me of my joy. I want to honour God with my body. I need help, please Lord send help.

We understand that you're struggling with an addiction that's robbing you of your joy, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this battle. We commend you for your desire to honor God with your body, as it is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB). Remember, He will not allow you to continue in this situation and will provide a way out (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our Brother in arms against this bondage. Lord, we know that all things are possible through Jesus Christ who strengthens us.

We call on you as we are commanded in 2 Chronicles 7:14 to actually turn from our wicked ways and pray to you and seek you as we clutch on to the promise that you will hear from heaven and forgive our sins and heal our land. We therefore, not only pray, but actually turn from our wicked ways to acknowledge that only You can set us free.

It is only by believing in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to you and to be saved from any type of addiction, which leads to death. Instead Lord make this brother's life and body a weapon of righteousness used to strengthen, empower, and encourage others to also come out of any bondage with your help Lord.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke this addiction and command it to loose its grip on Thaukel. Father, we ask that You fill his heart with Your joy and peace, as you free him from this terrible addiction. Surround Thaukel with Godly support. Your word tells us that if we resist the devil, he will flee from us. Lord, give Thaukel the strength to resist and send help from the body of Christ, followers of you, as only you can do to surround and strengthen him.

We're right here with you, Thaukel. We've all got our struggles, but we know who holds our future. Let's claim that promise together, "No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." (1 Corinthians 10:13)

"Dear Jesus, we come to You today, lifting up our brother, Thaukel. Lord, we know that You see him, You understand his struggle, and You're right there with him. We ask that You'd give him strength, courage, and wisdom to resist this addiction. Fill him with Your joy and peace that surpasses all understanding. Surround him with Your presence and the support of fellow believers. Help him, Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
