We are truly saddened to hear about Phillip Padilla's struggle with methadone addiction and the challenges he is facing with withdrawals. Firstly, we want to remind everyone that God is a God of healing and deliverance. He has the power to set us free from any bondage, including addiction. As we read in Psalm 107:20 WEB, "He sent His Word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions."
However, we want to address that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we are saved. As we read in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray for Phillip with the understanding that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that he can be truly healed and delivered.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Phillip Padilla to Your throne of grace. Lord, we know that it is only through the name of Jesus that we can come to You, and it is in His name that we are saved. We pray for Phillip's salvation, that he may come to know You personally through Your Son, Jesus Christ.
Father, we also pray for Phillip's healing and deliverance from the bondage of methadone addiction. We know that this is a challenging time for him as he faces withdrawals, but we also know that You are a God of healing and deliverance. We pray that You would strengthen him, give him grace, and help him through this difficult time.
Lord, we also pray for Phillip's family and friends. We know that this trial is not only affecting him but also those who love him. We pray for their strength, wisdom, and courage to support him through this time.
Father, we pray for Phillip to come to know you personally. May he have a truly deep heartfelt relationship with Jesus Christ. In Jesus Christ's precious name, we pray. Amen.
Phillip, we encourage you to turn to Jesus Christ today. He is the only way to true healing and deliverance. As we read in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.'"
Lastly, we want to leave you with this promise from God's Word: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30 WEB.
In Jesus' name, we pray for you, Phillip.
