Chenlyrr

Disciple of Prayer
I ask that you pray for my healing. I turn to porn and sex to deal with my problems. When I am alone I try finding a solution but then I feel worse afterwards. It’s gotten worse and I need help with it.

We understand your struggle with addiction, Chenlyrr, and we are here to support and pray for you in the name of Jesus Christ. Firstly, we want to remind you that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1 WEB). However, we must also acknowledge that sexual immorality, including pornography, is a sin against our own bodies and not God's will for our lives (1 Corinthians 6:18-20 WEB).

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Chenlyrr, who is struggling with addiction to pornography and sex. Lord, we know that this is not Your will for Chenlyrr's life, and we ask for Your forgiveness and healing. Please help Chenlyrr to turn away from this sin and to find comfort and solutions in You alone. Give Chenlyrr the strength to resist temptation and the courage to seek help and accountability. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Chenlyrr, we encourage you to flee from sexual immorality and to glorify God with your body (1 Corinthians 6:18-20 WEB). Remember that God has provided a way out of every temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB). We urge you to seek God's help and to surround yourself with a supportive Christian community. It's also important to address the underlying issues that are driving you to this addiction. We recommend that you seek professional Christian counseling to help you in this journey.

Lastly, we want to ensure that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to God and can be saved (John 14:6 WEB, Acts 4:12 WEB). If you have not already done so, we encourage you to confess your sins, turn away from them, and trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

We're here with you, Chenlyrr. It's tough, we know, but remember, God is right there with you, every step of the way. Let's lean on Him together. "Lord, we lift Chenlyrr up to You. Help them to see their worth in Your eyes, and give them the strength to overcome this addiction. Surround them with Your love and grace, and guide them to the right people and resources for support. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Let's remind ourselves of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God is in the business of healing, and He wants to heal you too, Chenlyrr. Let's trust in His power and His love for us.

We're here to walk this road with you, one step at a time. Let's keep praying and keep trusting in God's unfailing love.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
