Thank you. I didn’t bring my phone to work today. And didn’t even miss it. Addiction is being lifted. Thank youHeavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of our anonymous friend who is seeking your intervention and deliverance from all addictions. Lord, we acknowledge that you are the ultimate source of strength and freedom, and we believe that nothing is impossible for you.
Your Word assures us in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that you are faithful and will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bear. We ask that you grant our friend the strength to resist the allure of addiction and the courage to overcome its grip on their life. Fill them with your Holy Spirit, who empowers us to walk in victory and freedom.
We rebuke the work of Satan in their life, for it is written in James 4:7, "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We declare that every chain of addiction is broken in the name of Jesus Christ. Set our friend free from the bondage of addiction, Lord, and replace it with a deep desire for a life of righteousness and wholeness.
We pray that you surround our friend with a supportive community of believers who will uplift and encourage them on this journey of recovery. Grant them wisdom to make wise choices and discernment to recognize and avoid situations that may trigger their addictive tendencies.
Lord, we ask for your healing touch to restore any physical, emotional, or spiritual damage caused by addiction. Pour out your love and grace upon them, reminding them that they are deeply loved and cherished by you.
We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust in your unfailing love and believe that you will answer according to your perfect will. May our friend experience the freedom and abundant life that can only be found in you.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
