Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister Anangelenos and her daughter Chelsea. Lord, we acknowledge that addiction is a powerful force that can bring devastation and pain to individuals and their families. We pray for Chelsea, who has been struggling with addiction for many years. We ask that you would intervene in her life, Lord, and bring her back to you.
Your Word tells us in Isaiah 41:10, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." We claim this promise for Chelsea, Lord. Strengthen her, help her, and uphold her with your righteous right hand. Break the chains of addiction that bind her and set her free, for whom the Son sets free is free indeed .
We also pray for Anangelenos and her family, who have experienced great pain and heartache due to Chelsea's addiction. Comfort them, Lord, and bring healing to their hearts. Your Word assures us in Psalm 34:18 that you are near to the brokenhearted and save the crushed in spirit. Be near to Anangelenos and her family, Lord, and bring them the peace that surpasses all understanding .
We lift up Chelsea's five children, Lord, who have been separated from their mother due to her addiction. We pray for their well-being and protection. Surround them with your love and care, and provide them with the support and guidance they need during this difficult time. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 68:5 that you are a father to the fatherless and a defender of widows. Be their father, Lord, and defend them in every way.
We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and your unfailing love. We trust in your power to transform lives and bring restoration. We believe that nothing is impossible for you . We commit Chelsea into your hands, knowing that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think .
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
