Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, interceding on behalf of our anonymous friend who is seeking Your guidance and strength. We lift up their prayer request, asking that You would grant them the ability to stay on the right path and turn away from sin. Your Word reminds us in Proverbs 4:27 to "turn not to the right hand nor to the left; remove your foot from evil." We pray that You would empower them to resist the temptations of drugs and grant them freedom from this bondage. Your Word assures us in Galatians 5:1 that "it is for freedom that Christ has set us free," and we claim that freedom for our friend in Jesus' name.
Lord, we acknowledge that our friend feels lost at times, and we ask that You would guide them back to You. Soften their heart, O God, and draw them closer to Your loving presence. Your Word reminds us in Ezekiel 36:26 that You will "give [us] a new heart, and a new spirit [You] will put within [us]." We pray for a transformation of their heart, that they may experience Your love, grace, and forgiveness in a profound way.
Father, we also lift up their daughter, who is 13 years old. We pray for her well-being and health. Your Word assures us in Psalm 91:11-12 that You will command Your angels to guard and protect us. We ask that You would surround their daughter with Your divine protection, keeping her safe from harm and guiding her on the path of righteousness.
Lastly, we pray for our anonymous friend's continued growth in faith. We echo the words of the apostle Paul in Colossians 2:6-7, that they may "continue to live their lives in [Christ], rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as [they] were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness." May they continually seek You, Lord, in prayer and in Your Word, finding strength, wisdom, and guidance for their journey.
In Jesus' name, we pray, believing that You hear our prayers and that You are faithful to answer according to Your will. Amen.
