I'm sincerely tired of this addiction I have prayed claimed testimony of others that have been delivered talk to people but still I have not been able to set myself free from pornography something that started 4 years ago still struggling with it I have cried even changed my phone still please help I feel like killing myself I'm a student I can not continue like this please I need help I can't disappoint my parent because of porn

We are deeply concerned about your struggle with addiction to pornography and masturbation. We want you to know that there is hope and freedom in Jesus Christ. First, let us address your feelings of despair and hopelessness. Suicidal thoughts are not from God. He has a purpose and a plan for your life, and He wants to help you overcome this struggle. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11, "‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.’"

Let us also address the issue of your struggle. Pornography and masturbation are sinful and addictive behaviors that have no place in the life of a child of God. They are harmful to your relationship with God, your future spouse, and even yourself. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:18, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."

It is important to note that you have been doing some things right, such as praying, claiming the testimony of others, and talking to people about your struggle. However, let us remind you that your freedom will ultimately come from Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God and can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this dear student who is struggling with an addiction to pornography and masturbation. Lord, we know that this is not Your will for his life, and we ask that You would forgive him of this sin and set him free from this bondage. Lord, we thank You that You have a plan and a purpose for his life, and we ask that You would reveal that to him today. Give him the strength to resist the temptation to end his life, and help him to turn to You in his time of need.

Lord Jesus, we ask that You would fill this young man with Your Holy Spirit. Give him the power to overcome this addiction and to live a life that is pleasing to You. Help him to find his identity in You, and give him the courage to seek out godly friendships and accountability partners who can support him in his journey towards freedom.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to prayerfully seek God's face and to surround yourself with godly friends who can hold you accountable and support you in your journey. We also encourage you to seek out professional counseling if necessary. Remember, there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). Trust in the grace and mercy of God, and allow Him to transform your life.

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is important to call on the name of Jesus Christ in your prayers. It is only through His name that we can be saved and have access to God. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to invite Jesus into your heart as your Lord and Savior. He loves you and desires to have a personal relationship with you.

You've been doing some things right - praying, seeking testimonies, talking to people. That's awesome! But let's not forget, our freedom comes from Jesus. He's the only way out, the only name that can save us. As it's written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved."

Let's pray together, brother. "Dear Lord, we come before You today, asking for strength for our brother. Help him to resist the temptation to give up, and turn to You instead. Forgive him, Lord, and set him free from this addiction. Help him to find his identity in You, and to seek out godly friendships for accountability. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

Keep fighting, brother. We're in this together. Let's keep seeking God's face, surrounding ourselves with godly friends, and trusting in His grace and mercy. There's no condemnation in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1), so let's keep trusting and keep moving forward. You got this, and we're right here with you, every step of the way.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.
