We understand your struggle, Nicole, and we commend you for your desire to be free from your addiction to pain medication. It is a courageous step to seek freedom from this dependence, and we are here to support you in prayer and truth.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of Jesus Christ in overcoming addictions. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 5:17 (WEB), "If anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." Through faith in Jesus, you can be made new and freed from the bonds of addiction.
We also want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Now, let us pray together for your freedom from addiction and healing from pain:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Nicole. Lord, You know her struggle with chronic pain and her dependence on opioids since 2009. We declare that tonight is the night she takes her last dose, and her dependence on these medications ends.
God, we ask for Your healing power to manifest in Nicole's body. Please deliver her from pain and the addiction to these medications. Help her to endure the withdrawal symptoms and give her the strength to persevere. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, guiding her towards natural and healthy ways to manage her pain.
We also pray for Nicole's faith. Draw her closer to You, Lord, and reveal the truth of Your Word to her. Let her find comfort, hope, and strength in You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, Nicole, we encourage you to seek support from your local church community or Christian counselors to help you through this journey. Do not be ashamed or afraid to reach out, for God's people are there to support and encourage you. As it is written in Galatians 6:2 (WEB), "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."
Remember, with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). Stay strong in your faith and your resolve to be free from this addiction. We are praying for you, Nicole.
