We are deeply saddened to hear about the struggle with addiction that ### is facing. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's intervention in this challenging situation.
Firstly, we must remember that God is able to deliver us from all kinds of addictions. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### to You. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in his life. Break the chains of addiction to alcohol, cigarettes, and cigars that have held him captive. Give him the strength to resist temptation and the courage to seek help. Surround him with godly influences and supportive friends who will encourage him in his journey towards freedom.
Lord, we also pray for ###, his mother. Comfort her heart and give her the peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide her with Your wisdom as she supports her son through this difficult time. Help her to trust in Your power to heal and restore ### completely.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the spirit of addiction and declare victory over it. We claim the promise in 2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB, 'Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.'
