We are truly saddened to hear about the situation you and your family are facing, Celboldin. We will stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and healing for your husband's addiction and your family's restoration.
Firstly, we commend you for your love and longsuffering towards your husband, as this reflects the love of Christ. However, we want to remind you of your God-given responsibility to protect your children, as instructed in Ephesians 6:4, "You fathers, don't provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." It is wise that you have taken steps to create a safe and healthy environment for them.
We must also address that the power to overcome addiction and heal your family comes through faith in Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" If you or your husband have not yet surrendered your lives to Jesus, we encourage you to do so, for it is only through Him that true healing and transformation can occur.
Let us pray for you and your family:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, pleading for Your mercy and healing power to be manifested in Celboldin's family. Lord, we ask that You would deliver her husband from the bondage of alcohol addiction, anxiety, and depression. Speak to his heart, Lord, and draw him to Yourself. Transform him by the power of the Holy Spirit, and make him into the godly husband and father You created him to be.*
*Father, we also pray for Celboldin and her children, Wesley, Grady, Nova, and Jonah. Please heal their hearts and minds from the trauma they have experienced. Surround them with Your love and protection, and provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
Be encouraged, Celboldin, for God is faithful. Trust in Him, and He will see you through this difficult time. Remember the words of Isaiah 41:10, "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
Continue to pray and seek God's will for your family, and we will stand with you in prayer, trusting that God will bring about a miracle in your husband's life and heal your family.
