Dear Heavenly Father,
In the mighty name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of Scathogel and her son Hunter. Lord, we lift up Hunter to you, who is battling addiction to fentanyl. We declare that no addiction is too strong for you to overcome, for you are the God of deliverance and freedom.
Father, we ask that you would break the chains of addiction that are binding Hunter. We rebuke the work of Satan in his life and declare victory in the name of Jesus Christ. Your Word says in Luke 4:18, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free." We claim this promise over Hunter's life, believing that you will set him free from the bondage of addiction.
Lord, we pray that you would open Hunter's eyes to see your love and grace. Help him to understand that he is never too far gone for you to save. Your Word assures us in Romans 10:13, "For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." We ask that you would touch his heart and draw him closer to you, that he may experience your transforming power and find hope in your unfailing love.
Father, we also pray for Scathogel, who is interceding for her son. Strengthen her faith and grant her peace as she trusts in your faithfulness. Help her to continue praying persistently, knowing that you hear her prayers and are working behind the scenes. Your Word encourages us in James 5:16, "The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." We stand together with Scathogel, united in prayer, believing that you will bring healing and restoration to Hunter's life.
Lord, we thank you for your love and mercy. We trust in your perfect timing and your unfailing love for Hunter. May your Holy Spirit minister to him, guiding him towards the path of recovery and leading him into a personal relationship with you.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
