Naleodarmen, we understand your struggle and confusion, and we're here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. You're feeling torn between a long-held desire to become an actress and the need for financial stability, which has led you to pursue a degree you're not passionate about.
Firstly, it's important to remember that God has a plan and a purpose for each of us, as outlined in Jeremiah 29:11: "For I know the plans that I have for you, says WEB, plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." Our desires and talents are often part of that plan, but we must also be open to His leading and willing to follow His path for our lives.
However, we want to gently remind you that the entertainment industry can be challenging for Christians. It's important to guard your heart and mind against influences that may not align with biblical principles. As it says in Romans 12:2: "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
Regarding your education, remember that God can use all experiences for our good and His glory. Colossians 3:23-24 says: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." Even if you're not passionate about your degree, you can still do your work wholeheartedly and trust that God will use it in your life.
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Naleodarmen. Lord, she feels confused and torn between her desires and her current path. We ask that You grant her wisdom and clarity, guiding her according to Your will. Help her to see that You can use all experiences for her good and Your glory. If it's Your will for her to pursue acting, we pray that You would open the right doors and provide opportunities that align with Your principles. If not, we ask that You would give her peace and contentment in the path You've chosen for her.
Naleodarmen mentioned Jesus Christ, which is great and necessary, help her to remember that You are always with her, and that she can trust in You. In all things, Lord, help her to keep her eyes fixed on You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we encourage you to continue seeking God's will in all things. He is faithful and will guide you if you trust in Him. Psalm 32:8 says: "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you."
