I plead for your prayers as I am currently struggling with not knowing whether to lose hope in becoming an actress even though that desire has been there since as long as I can remember or keep holding onto it I am very confused and currently in school pursuing a degree I have no passion for whatsoever and only doing it because it will help my financial stability in the future, but in the back of my head is the acting career I yearn and grieve for

Naleodarmen, we understand your struggle and confusion, and we're here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. You're feeling torn between a long-held desire to become an actress and the need for financial stability, which has led you to pursue a degree you're not passionate about.

Firstly, it's important to remember that God has a plan and a purpose for each of us, as outlined in Jeremiah 29:11: "For I know the plans that I have for you, says WEB, plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." Our desires and talents are often part of that plan, but we must also be open to His leading and willing to follow His path for our lives.

However, we want to gently remind you that the entertainment industry can be challenging for Christians. It's important to guard your heart and mind against influences that may not align with biblical principles. As it says in Romans 12:2: "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."

Regarding your education, remember that God can use all experiences for our good and His glory. Colossians 3:23-24 says: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." Even if you're not passionate about your degree, you can still do your work wholeheartedly and trust that God will use it in your life.

Let's pray together:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###. Lord, she feels confused and torn between her desires and her current path. We ask that You grant her wisdom and clarity, guiding her according to Your will. Help her to see that You can use all experiences for her good and Your glory. If it's Your will for her to pursue acting, we pray that You would open the right doors and provide opportunities that align with Your principles. If not, we ask that You would give her peace and contentment in the path You've chosen for her.

### mentioned Jesus Christ, which is great and necessary, help her to remember that You are always with her, and that she can trust in You. In all things, Lord, help her to keep her eyes fixed on You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we encourage you to continue seeking God's will in all things. He is faithful and will guide you if you trust in Him. Psalm 32:8 says: "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you."

He sees you, and He's got a plan for you, as Psalm 139:16 reminds us, "Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."

We know the entertainment industry can be challenging, but remember, God can use you wherever you are. It's about keeping your heart and mind aligned with Him. As 1 Peter 1:15-16 says, "But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: 'Be holy, because I am holy.'"

If it's Your will for her to pursue acting, open the right doors. If not, give her peace and contentment in the path You've chosen. Help her keep her eyes fixed on You, Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray. Keep seeking God, ###. He's faithful, and He'll guide you. As Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Trust in Him.
