We stand with you in the spirit of righteousness and justice, and we bring this matter before the throne of God, in Jesus Christ. We are reminded in Romans 12:19, "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says God.' "
Firstly, we commend you for recognizing that Jesus Christ fights our battles. It is only through Him and by His name that we have access to God the Father, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.' "
We pray that God will bring justice to the situation and hold the perpetrators and those who enable them accountable for their actions. We ask for strength and endurance for the victims, that they may stand firm in their faith until the end.
We ask for God's protection for the victims, as promised in Psalm 34:17, "The righteous cry, and God hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles."
We pray for the perpetrators, that God will convict their hearts and bring them to repentance, as He desires all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, just as in I Timothy 2:3-4. This may seem difficult to pray for, but we should remember Jesus's words from the cross Luke 23:34, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.""
Lastly, we pray that God will raise up godly leaders and authorities who will not tolerate such injustices, but will act with integrity and righteousness, as encouraged in Proverbs 29:2 "When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people groan."
Together, we stand against these injustices and pray for God's will to be done, knowing that ultimately, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess the name of Jesus and give him glory, just as in Philippians 2:10-11.
