We understand your distress and disappointment, dear friend. Let us first turn to God's Word for comfort and guidance. Proverbs 3:5-6 in the WEB reminds us to "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
In this trying time, we must first humble ourselves and accept that God's ways are higher than ours. It is important to remain honest and integrous, even in the face of adversity. We commend you for your resolve not to engage in dishonest behavior, as Proverbs 10:9 tells us, "He who walks in integrity walks securely, but he who perverts his ways will be found out."
However, we must also examine our hearts and actions. The belief that one can never fail may stem from pride, which God warns against. Proverbs 16:18 says, "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall." It is crucial to remain humble and teachable, as there is always room for growth and learning.
Let us pray for you:
"Father God, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our dear friend who is facing this academic challenge. Lord, we ask that You grant them the humility to accept this situation and the wisdom to learn from it. Help them to trust in You, even when things don't go as planned. Guide them in their next steps, and if there was indeed an error, bring it to light. Give them the strength to persevere and continue their studies with integrity. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, God is sovereign over all things, including our academics. Keep trusting in Him, and He will direct your path. If you have not mentioned the name of Jesus Christ in your request, we encourage you to do so, as it is through Him that we have access to God. As Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved."
