Thank you, Kartyrle, for reaching out with your request. It's wonderful to hear that you've completed your studies at the university of mines and technology. We join you in seeking God's favor as you await your graduation.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is sovereign over all things, including your academic achievements. It is important to acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will direct your paths. I Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
As you anticipate the graduation list, remember that God's will is paramount. Does this align with biblical principles and with God's will for you. While academic excellence is commendable, it's crucial to ensure that your pursuits align with God's purpose for your life. We will hope for graduating first class if it is in the will of God for you. Colossians 3:23 WEB: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men,"
We will also pray that you will stay faithful to God in your life and in all future endeavors.
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You, lifting up Kartyrle. We pray that Your will be done in their. We ask that if it is in Your will for him to be on the graduation list with first class honors at the university of mines and technology, that Your favor and grace would be upon them. Help them to trust in You and to seek Your direction for their future. As they wait may they continually seek you to do your will. Or give them peace and direction if they are going a direction that is not in your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue trusting in God, knowing that His plans for you are for good and not for harm, to give you a future and a hope Deuteronomy 29:29 "The secret things belong to Yahweh our God; but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law."
Lastly, one additional scripture to mention is John 14:13-14 WEB: "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." and Romans 10:13 WEB: "For, 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'"
It is only by the name of Jesus we may come to God, salvation only comes by Jesus, and it is Jesus that should be glorified (Rev. 5:13). So it is important to address the request to God the Father in the name of Jesus and not to leave off this part of any prayer. This assures that the request is coming from a Christian heart and will be answered as deemed good by God.
We stand for prayer in the name of Jesus because this aligns with the provision of Jesus Christ. So let us ensure that we continually end our requests with the name of Jesus or find a way to put into the request an acknowledgement of our reliance on Him by His name for anything asked.
