Abusive Husband

I am asking for prayer requests for my broken family. My husband and his family have driven a wedge between us.
He’s done hurtful things to me and my family.
I pray for mercy for him and I pray for strength to God to help me with this journey.
Most of all I pray for my children. I want our family to be together in Christ.
Please lord melt his hatred, hardened heart and intervene.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this family in prayer. Lord, You are the God of healing and restoration, and we ask for Your divine intervention in this situation. We pray for the husband, that You may soften his heart and bring him to a place of repentance and love. As it is written in Ezekiel 36:26, "I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh." We ask that You replace his heart of stone with a heart of flesh, filled with compassion and understanding.

Father, we also pray for strength and courage for this dear one who is enduring such hardship. Your Word in Isaiah 40:31 reminds us, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." Grant this person the endurance and faith to continue on this difficult journey, leaning on Your everlasting arms for support.

We lift up the children, Lord, asking for Your protection over their hearts and minds. May they feel Your love and peace, even in the midst of turmoil. We pray that this family may be united in Christ, finding strength and solace in Your Word. As it says in Psalm 133:1, "See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!" We ask that You bring this family together in unity and love, guided by Your Holy Spirit.

Father, we trust in Your mercy and grace. We pray for healing, forgiveness, and a renewed sense of hope for this family. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
