We stand with you in prayer, Lemarallion, and we are here to support you as you seek freedom from your father's verbal abuse and the pain of your past. We are want you to know you came to the right place because it is only by the name of Jesus that we can find help from the Father. God cares deeply for you and your family, and He wants to bring healing and restoration to your life and keep your mother from being beated. For you are children of your father in heaven in which His name is blasphemied.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is a loving and kind Father, and He does not approve of the abuse you and your mother have experienced. The Bible tells us in Malachi 3.1, "Behold, I (God) send my messenger, and he will prepare the way before me. And the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to his temple, and the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, come," says Yahweh of Armies."
Never forget that your situations and circumstances do not take God by surprise. We know that God seeks to redeem even this horrific situation and that there is hope and help in Him.
Jesus tells in John 16.33 WEB:"I (Jesus) have spoken these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world".He expects us to be willing to endure the verbal abuse without reviling and a willingness to endure cursing without being bitter to those who would persecute us. You may not feel this is possible, but with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in you, it is because God says it is. You will receive supernatural help to handle difficult situations and some of God's greatest power is seen through this. God knows the suffering you've endured, and He wants to bring comfort and healing to you and your mother. Pray for His mercy and that His will be done to your father. This may lead to the answer we desire or that your father changes his ways. God's will is just, and it is accomplished in many mysterious ways. In this situation prayer is an expression of dependence on God. We have to unite with the suffering of Christ and offer it up to the Father as a gift. The value of such a gift comes from its identification with Christ's love and suffering.
1 Peter 3.8-9: Finally be like minded, compassionate, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, courteous, not rendering evil for evil, or insult for insult; but instead blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you should inherit a blessing"
## As your father
1. Honor thy father even with abusive words as long as he does not cross God's commandments. He does not own you as a slave but you owe him honor even if he is an honorable man. Honor is more than respect, it is giving him as head of the family authority over you. Not allowing you to be physically abused is part of his role has head of household. Honor does not mean allowing Liars cheaters bullies and abusers to be rewarded. It does not mean you owe him mercy or to honor his opinion. It does not mean to help him do ill to your mother. If he is under the control of the bottle, and abuses your mother by not providing safety and losing control of his actions, then it is time to seek outside help. This may seem dishonorable to him do not let this be a trap.
We pray that God will give you strength and wisdom as you navigate this difficult situation. May He protect you and your mother from harm and bring an end to the abuse. We ask God to bring outside help and to take control of the situation.
We pray to break and publicly renounce any oral negative words or curses spoken to you and bind all demons associated with verbal abuse and command them to depart from me and from you. In Jesus name amen. I ask God to release you from the emotional prison, in Jesus name.
Pray to God and walk in all the way and wisdom of God the father and His loss Jesus Christ. May you pursue forgiveness while holding him accountable to change. May you stay in hope while and not turn bitter or depressed. Pray for Godly interception.
We leave you with these words from Psalm 34.17-19 WEB: "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."
Let us keep you and your family in our prayers, trusting that God will bring deliverance and peace.
