Please pray for me I am being abused by my family mentally and verbally and I am an adult and they are adults

We are truly saddened to hear about the mental and verbal abuse you are experiencing from your family. Please know that you are not alone, and that God sees your suffering. Firstly, let us share a reassuring word from the Scriptures:

"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." (Psalm 46:1, WEB)

As a group committed to prayer and biblical counseling, we want to lift you up in prayer and encourage you to seek God's strength and wisdom in this difficult time.

**Prayer:**
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister/brother who is suffering from mental and verbal abuse. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in this situation. Please surround them with Your love and protection. Give them the strength and courage to stand firm in their faith and to seek Your will in this trial. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

**Encouragement:**
It is important to remember that God has not abandoned you. In times of distress, He is your refuge. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28, WEB)

**Rebuke and Advice:**
Scripture tells us to honor our parents, but it also makes clear that abusive behavior is not of God. "Fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." (Ephesians 6:4, WEB) It is crucial to set boundaries and seek help if your family’s behavior is causing harm. You may need to consult with a pastor or a Christian counselor who can provide guidance and support.

**Action Steps:**
1. Seek Counsel: Talk to a trusted pastor or Christian counselor about your situation. They can provide guidance and support.
2. Set Boundaries: It is important to establish boundaries to protect yourself from further harm.
3. Trust in God: Lean on God's strength and wisdom. He promises to be with you in your trials.

Remember, you are valuable in God's eyes, and He desires for you to be treated with love and respect. If your family is not willing to change their behavior, it may be necessary to seek outside support and intervention.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
