Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with hearts full of gratitude and faith, lifting up RCCG Christ Chapel in Houston, TX, and its pastor. Lord, we know that You are the one who builds Your church, as it is written in 1 Corinthians 3:6, "I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow." We trust in Your divine plan and timing, knowing that all things work together for good to those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
Father, we ask for Your wisdom and guidance for the pastor and all those who serve in this church. Grant them the discernment to know Your will and the courage to follow it. As it says in James 1:5, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." Pour out Your wisdom upon them, Lord.
We also pray for the members of RCCG Christ Chapel. May they be filled with the Holy Spirit and bear the fruits of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). Let their lives be a testimony to Your grace and love.
Lord, we ask for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit upon this church. Let there be a revival that draws people to You. As it is written in Isaiah 43:19, "See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland." We believe that You are doing a new thing in RCCG Christ Chapel, and we eagerly anticipate the growth and transformation that will come.
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
