Shriydell, we understand that you're going through a stressful time preparing for your exams and we want you to know that God cares about every detail of your life, including your studies and aspirations. We are encouraged to approach God with every need, no matter what it is. First, let's remember Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
First of all, we are lifting up your desire to become a doctor, asking God to guide you and provide you with the wisdom and knowledge needed to achieve this goal. We pray for you to rely on His strength during this challenging time. Second Thessalonians 3:13 WEB says, "But as for you, brothers, don't be weary in doing well." But we also want to remind you of 1 Thessalonians 4:3 WEB, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality," and we would like to know if you are keeping your body pure as you are studying to help others with their bodies. This is a matter of obedience to God. We encourage you to be chaste during this time of preparation.
In your prayer request, we notice that you didn't mention Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. John 14:6 WEB says, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Romans 10:9 WEB says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
In times of doubt, remember Jeremiah 29:11 WEB: "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'" God has a plan and a purpose for you, and He will reveal it in His perfect timing.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Shriydell in their pursuit of becoming a doctor. Lord, we ask that You guide them through their exams, provide them with the knowledge and wisdom they need, and help them to trust in Your plan for their life.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray for peace and comfort for Shriydell during this stressful time. We ask that You guard their heart and mind with Your peace, and remind them of Your unfailing love and faithfulness.
Help Shriydell to keep their body pure and pleasing to you. Remove any distractions or temptations that could lead them away from being obedient to you. Help them to have the discipline to keep their mind on their studies and always pleasing to you in all they do.
If Shriydell has not accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, we pray that they would do so now. Help them to understand that it is only through Jesus that they can come to You, Father, and that there is no other name by which we can be saved.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
