We understand your distress and desire for answers regarding the tragic event that occurred. Let us first turn to God's Word for comfort and guidance. In Romans 12:19, the WEB tells us, "Avenge not yourselves, beloved, but give place unto the wrath of God: for it is written, Vengeance belongeth unto me; I will recompense, saith the Lord."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the sad and confusing circumstances surrounding the loss of this joyful being. Lord, we ask for Your comfort and peace to fill Orad's heart. We know that You are the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles (2 Corinthians 1:3-4).
Lord, we ask for justice to be served, but we leave vengeance in Your hands. We pray that the truth will come to light, and that those responsible will be held accountable. We trust in Your perfect judgment and timing.
Father, we also lift up retroactive prayers for this poor creature in its last moments. We ask that it felt Your presence and peace. We praise You, Jesus Christ, for allowing it to have existed and for the good times it had during its little life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Orad, in times of trouble, it is important to remember that God is in control. He sees all and knows all. Trust that He will bring justice and truth to light in His own time. Rest in the comfort that He provides, and do not be tempted to take matters into your own hands. Remember, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB)
