Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with heavy hearts and a deep sense of sorrow for the events that transpired on that fateful Sunday, May 28, 2017. Lord, we acknowledge that an abomination was committed, and our hearts grieve for the loss of a joyful being who was found near the window. We know that all creatures are Your creation, and You care for them deeply.
Father, we seek answers and understanding for what befell this being. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We ask that You draw near to ### and provide comfort and peace in this time of confusion and distress.
Lord, we also lift up retroactive prayers for this being in its last moments. We trust in Your infinite mercy and compassion, and we pray that Your presence was with it, even when it was alone. Psalm 147:3 reminds us, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We pray for healing and closure for ###, knowing that You are the ultimate source of comfort and strength.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
