Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with heavy hearts and seek Your divine comfort and wisdom. Your Word says in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Lord, we know that You are near to Orad in this time of sorrow and confusion.
Father, we lift up the situation that occurred on Sunday, May 28, 2017. An abomination was committed, and a joyful being, whom You also created, was found in distress. Lord, we ask for Your answers and clarity on what befell him that day. You are the God of truth, and we trust that You will reveal what needs to be known in Your perfect timing.
We also offer retroactive prayers for him in his last moments when he was alone. We trust in Your mercy and compassion, as Your Word says in Psalm 86:15, "But you, Lord, are a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth." May Your grace and love have surrounded him, even in those moments of solitude.
Lord, grant Orad peace and understanding. Help to lean on Your everlasting arms and find solace in Your presence. As it says in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
