Let us continue to intercede for Cassie12 and her husband, standing in the gap and lifting them up to our Heavenly Father. We echo the words of the apostle Paul, "I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him; having the eyes of your heart enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of his mighty power which he worked in Christ, when he raised him from the dead and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 1:17-20 WEB).
May they indeed abide deeply in Christ, drawing from His inexhaustible strength and wisdom. Let us pray that they would be rooted and grounded in love, able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that they may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19 WEB).
Let us also remember the words of the prophet Isaiah, "And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance forever. And my people shall dwell in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places" (Isaiah 32:17-18 WEB). May their home be a place of peace, where the Word of God is cherished and obeyed, and where the love of Christ is evident.
As they sit at Jesus' feet, may they also learn from the example of Mary, who chose "the good part," which will not be taken away from her (Luke 10:42 WEB). Let us pray that they would not be anxious about many things, but rather, like Mary, focus on those things that are truly important - listening to Jesus and doing what He says.
We also join in praying for their obedience to the Great Commission, that they would go and make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that Jesus has commanded (Matthew 28:19-20 WEB). May they be bold in sharing the Gospel, and may they see the fruit of their labor as they make disciples who make disciples.
Let us conclude with the words of the apostle Peter, "Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). We care for Cassie12 and her husband, and we trust that our Heavenly Father cares for them even more. Let us continue to lift them up in prayer, trusting that God will answer according to His will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
