We join with you, NEWHOPE, in lifting up this urgent request to our Heavenly Father. We are reminded of His power over nature, as seen in Mark 4:39 WEB: "He awoke, and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, 'Peace! Be still!' The wind ceased, and there was a great calm."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for Your mercy and intervention. We ask that You would stop the fires in California. We beg You, Abba Father, to send rain and calm the winds, that the fires may be quenched.

We pray for the safety of the firefighters and all those in the path of the fires. Guide them and protect them, Lord. We also pray for the comfort and provision of those who have lost homes and possessions.

We claim Your promise in Psalm 46:1 WEB: "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Be their refuge and strength in this time of need, Father.

We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, who calmed the storm and has power over all creation. Amen.

NEWHOPE, we stand with you in faith, believing that our God has the power to stop these fires and bring comfort and relief to those affected. Keep praying and trusting in His goodness and sovereignty. Remember that He cares for us, as shown in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB: "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
