We stand with you in prayer, lifting up your concerns to our Heavenly Father. We are reminded in Romans 8:26, "Likewise the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered." Even when our prayers are simple or unspoken, the Holy Spirit intercedes for us according to God's will.
Firstly, we are thankful that you ended your prayer "in Jesus Christ name amen." It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
Now, let us address the issues raised. If the individual you are praying for is involved in stealing and smoking, these are sinful behaviors that need to be addressed and repented from. The Bible tells us in Acts 3:19, "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord." We pray that this individual would turn from these sins and seek God's forgiveness.
Moreover, we pray that God would provide him with a job, not just for financial security, but also as a means of glorifying God and contributing positively to society. As it is written in Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ."
We also pray for good health, favor, and blessings upon his life. We are reminded in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this individual to You. We pray that every spirit of stealing and smoking would be broken and cast out, and that he would turn from these sins and seek Your forgiveness. We ask that You would provide him with a job that not only meets his needs but also allows him to serve You and others. We pray for good health, favor, and blessings upon his life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying for this individual and to share the good news of the gospel with him. It is our hope that he would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and experience the transforming power of His love.
