We stand with you, Saraha, in lifting up this precious child and the entire situation to our Heavenly Father. We thank God for His protection over this little one, and for the authorities who are diligently investigating the case.
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, grateful for Your loving care and protection. Thank You for keeping this child safe and for the swift action of the authorities in returning the child to their mother. Lord, we ask for wisdom and discernment for the police as they continue their investigation. Guide them to the man responsible and bring him to justice.
Lord, we pray for this child, that they would grow to know and love You, and that this experience would not leave any lasting trauma. Comfort them and their mother, and surround them with supportive and loving people.
We also pray for the man who abandoned the child. Father, only You know his heart and the circumstances that led to his actions. We ask that You would convict him of his wrongdoing and draw him to repentance.
Father, we thank You for Your promise to be a father to the fatherless and a defender of the widows (Psalm 68:5, WEB). We claim this promise for this child and ask that You would surround them with Your love and protection all the days of their life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, Saraha, to continue praying for this situation and to trust that God is working even when we cannot see it. Remember the words of Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." God can bring good even out of this unfortunate situation.
