Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today on behalf of Ganone, who is feeling overwhelmed by guilt and condemnation. Lord, Your Word assures us that "if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We stand on that promise today, knowing that Your forgiveness is assured and Your love is unwavering.
Father, Ganone has confessed the past involvement with fortune-telling and visiting a psychic. We thank You for the conviction of the Holy Spirit that has led to repentance. We ask that You would break any spiritual strongholds that may have been formed as a result of these actions. Your Word tells us that "the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36). We claim that freedom for Ganone right now, in the mighty name of Jesus.
Lord, we also lift up the pain and hurt caused by the husband's affair. We pray for healing in this marriage, and we ask that You would bring restoration and reconciliation. You are the God who "heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3). Please comfort Ganone and bring peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Father, Ganone feels abandoned and is struggling to feel Your presence and love. We pray that You would reveal Yourself in a powerful way. Remind that nothing can separate us from Your love, as it is written: "For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:38-39).
Lord, fill Ganone with Your Holy Spirit, and let Your peace rule in the heart. Help to renew the mind with Your truth, as it is written: "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect" (Romans 12:2).
We believe that You have a plan and a purpose for Ganone's life, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Strengthen Ganone's faith and help to trust in Your unfailing love and grace.
We pray all these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
