We understand that you are reaching out to Heavenly Father for recovery, and we appreciate that you ended your prayer with "in Jesus Christ name." It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in the WEB, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).
As we lift you up in prayer, we also encourage you to hold onto God's promises. In Psalms 50:15 we read, "Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you and you will honor me" (WEB). God is faithful to His word, and He wants to help us in our time of need. We are here to put you in contact with God through the name of Jesus Christ.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our fellow believer who is in need of recovery. We pray that You will touch their body, soul, and spirit, and bring them complete healing and restoration. We rebuke any illness, addiction, or affliction that may be causing harm, and we command it to leave in Jesus' name. We ask for Your divine intervention, knowing that You are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20,WEB). We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the healing that You have already begun. We ask this all in Jesus Christ name. Amen.
We encourage you to keep your faith strong and to seek God's will in all things. Continue to trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9,WEB). He has a purpose and a plan for your life, and He will use all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28,WEB).
If you are in recovery from any kind of sin like addiction, lust, alcoholism, drug use, or immorality, remember you can turn to God for forgiveness and for the strength to remove this sin from your life. We must show God we are serious about removing sin from our life. We repent and turn from our sins. We must remove temptation and any influence that would lead us back to our sin. We must be sober and vigilant because our adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). We must resist him steadfast in the faith (1 Peter 5:9). We must put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11).
As we read in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (WEB).
You can email us or write again with more specifics about your recovery need, and we will pray again.
