We understand your concern for the protection of your property, but we want to remind you that our ultimate trust should be in God, not in material possessions. As it says in Matthew 6:19-21 WEB, "Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
Let's pray for a right perspective and for God's protection:
Almighty God, we come before You in Jesus Christ's name, thanking You for Your constant provision and care. Lord, we ask that You would help us to keep our hearts focused on eternal treasures, not on the things of this world. We ask for Your protection over this phone. We pray for the thief, that they would come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We ask for Your guidance and wisdom in this situation. Help us to trust in You more each day. In Jesus Christ name we pray. Amen.
If anything happens to the phone remember that God is ultimately in control. He knows your every need and will provide for you according to His riches in glory. Trust in Him, and do not let worries about material possessions weigh you down. As it says in Matthew 6:25 WEB, "Therefore, I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing?"
