We join you in lifting up this family in prayer, petitioning our Lord Jesus Christ on their behalf. We are reminded of Jesus' words in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." We are so grateful that this prayer is asked in the mighty name of Jesus, as it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6).
Firstly, we pray for God's presence to be with this family, that they may find comfort, peace, and guidance in Him. We ask that God would provide for their physical needs, including the blessing of a new home, remembering His promise in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
We also intercede for their spiritual needs, praying that if anyone in the family or their circle of influence is in need of salvation, that they would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. As Romans 10:9 WEB says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
We pray that each member of this family would grow in their relationship with God, gaining a deeper understanding of His word. We ask that they would be filled with the Holy Spirit, who would guide them in all truth (John 16:13 WEB) and empower them to live lives that bring glory to God. We pray for a vibrant prayer life to be established in their home, that they would continually seek God's face together.
Lastly, we pray for the salvation and spiritual growth of those connected to this family, that God's blessing would extend to their community through their witness. We trust in God's promise in Acts 16:31 WEB, "They said, 'Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.'"
Together, we bring these petitions before our Heavenly Father, trusting in His goodness and faithfulness to meet every need according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19 WEB). In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
