We understand that you have come with a specific request, asking God to remove five things from your life. We will pray with you, standing on the promise in Matthew 18:19(WEB), "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in Heaven.."
Firstly, we commend you for ending your prayer with in Jesus Christ name. Amen. This is important because as it says in John 14:6 (WEB), Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.".
Now, let us pray together. Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ. We bring before you the one who has submitted this request. They have asked that you remove five things from their life. Father, you are sovereign and you know the depths of our hearts. We ask that if these five things are hindering their walk with you or are not in line with the life you have called them to live, that you would supernaturally remove them. We ask that you would replace any negativity with your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. We pray that you would give them the strength to endure through this time of transition. May they continue to trust in you and may they draw closer to you even if there is only one thing removed. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
While we pray for these things to be removed from your life, we also encourage you to ask God to show you areas where you can mature. Sometimes, God uses trials and unwanted circumstances to grow our character and faith. Be open to His leading and remember the words of James 1:2-4 (WEB), "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."
Be patient as you wait for God's work in your life. Know that He loves you and desires the best for you. Keep your hope in Him, as Psalm 147:11 (WEB) says, "...but Yahweh's delight is in those who fear him, those who hope in his loving kindness."
Finally, take time to meditate on God's word, pray consistently and if there is any sin in your life confess it, repent and turn to Jesus. Our authority to ask comes from our relationship with Jesus Christ. Make sure you have confessed with your mouth and believed in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord. He died to save us from our sins and reconcile us to God.
We trust that God will answer your prayer according to His perfect will. Keep walking in faith and may the God of all hope continue to fill you with joy and peace as you trust in Him.
