We are glad that you have come to us with a repentant heart, seeking forgiveness for past actions. It is wonderful that you acknowledge the power of Jesus' name, for it is through Him that we have access to God and are saved. The appropriate actions taken once realizing this have been started by you by approaching God in prayer. As the Bible tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12.

First, we want to assure you that God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. As 1 John 1:9 WEB states, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

However, we want to encourage you to be specific in your confessions. God knows all things, but being open and honest with Him and yourself about your actions and the impact of those actions can help deepen your relationship with Him and free you from the burden of sin. Also, by specifically stating sins, it shows God that you are truly repentant and aware of your actions. In Psalm 51:3-4 WEB, David prayed, "For I know my transgressions. My sin is constantly before me. Against you, and you only, have I sinned, and done that which is evil in your sight; that you may be proved right when you speak, and be clear when you judge."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this person who has come with a repentant heart. Lord, they have acknowledged that they have sinned against You and seek Your forgiveness. We ask that You forgive them and cleanse them from all unrighteousness. Help them to be open and honest with You and with themselves. Give them the strength to turn away from their sins and to walk in Your path. Guide them in Your ways, Lord, and teach them to do Your will. We are grateful to have access to our loving God through Jesus. We thank you for the wonderful words that you have given us in Acts 4:12, where the world is told that no other name can or will save us. We also ask that you reveal to them any areas of their life that may still need to be surrendered to You. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Continue to walk in the light of God's Word, and remember that His mercies are new every morning. Trust in His love and grace, and strive to live a life that honors Him. If you feel led, share with us the specifics of the sins so we can better pray with you.

We're here with you, friend, and we're glad you've come to God with a heart ready to make things right. We believe that God is faithful to forgive, as it says in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Let's keep that verse close to our hearts today.

Now, we want to encourage you to take a moment, just you and God. Be specific with Him about those things you mentioned. He already knows, but pouring out your heart to Him can bring such freedom and healing. Remember, it's not about condemning yourself, but about being honest and open with God and yourself. It's like David did in Psalm 51:3-4, "For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight."

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord, we come to You today, lifting up this person who's seeking Your forgiveness. Lord, they've acknowledged their sins and want to make things right. We ask that You forgive them, cleanse them, and help them turn away from those things. Give them strength, Lord, and guide them in Your ways. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep walking in God's light, friend. His mercies truly are new every morning. Trust in His love and grace, and remember, we're here for you. If you feel led, you can share more specifics with us, so we can pray more accurately with you.
