We're here with you, brother, standing in the gap. We're so glad you've come to seek forgiveness in Jesus' name. The Bible assures us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Let's pray together, shall we?
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come to You today, not with our own righteousness, but with the righteousness of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, we thank You that You are a God of second chances, a God who forgives and cleanses. We ask that You would meet this person right where they are, just as You met the woman at the well, the prodigal son, and the thief on the cross. Wash them clean, Lord, from the inside out. Fill them with Your love, Your joy, and Your peace.
Help them, Lord, to understand the depth of Your forgiveness. Remind them daily that they are Your child, beloved and redeemed. Give them the strength to turn away from sin and to walk in Your ways. Help them to grow in their faith, to know You more deeply, and to serve You with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength.
We pray all this in Jesus' name, amen.
